International Guidance Services
Welcomes You
Guiding Students Into the Future

Figuring out the future can
be daunting for students.
Finding a certified School Counselor who is familiar with university admissions processes for other countries besides the USA is difficult. Most international schools have diverse demographics and need to meet the unique demands of their students.
Having worked in the field of School Counseling internationally since 2012 and having a masters degree in Education as a school counselor, I am qualified to help drive your counseling program. These services are offered both online and in-person and can help with your schools accreditation.
Please contact me and see how we can work together to help your students determine what their future holds.

How I Work

Remote Guidance
Ongoing contact with your students as they walk through the university application process. Via email and Google Meets, I keep students and parents current on new developments in the application and financial aid process. I am available at any time for counseling, consultation, and to answer questions from the students, teachers and parents. This includes anything from written emails to video meetings. Depending on the needs of your school, in-person visits can be a part of our plan to help your students succeed.
Social Emotional Lessons, Testing Preparation, and Guidance Lessons will be in video format so that your teachers can lead them in the classroom.

On-site Guidance
Once or twice a year I will travel to your school and spend time with students, staff and families.
-
Elementary & Middle School - I will visit classrooms to discuss jobs, careers, their unique talents and who they are in Christ, as well as, conducting Social Emotional Lessons.
-
High School - I will spend time in class with each grade, helping students understand what comes after High School, how to determine interests and talents, and create timelines for applications. I will also meet one-on-one, by appointment, with any students who need it.
-
Staff - I will be available as needed to encourage and help staff in their roles as teachers in the college application process.
-
Families - I will meet one-on-one, by appointment, with parents and their children to help demystify the University application process and financial aid forms.
